THIS JUST IN. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, there is a growing body of evidence of a possible start of the Swine Flu in California, not Mexico.

To that end, I am calling on Congress to order the immediate closing of the border with California. Additionally I demand that the states of Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon mobilize their respective National Guard Units to secure not only their borders with the Ground  Zero Swine Flu state but the stockpiles of TamiFlu as well while their respective health departments of each state should use all means necessary to distribute face masks to its 12,890,407 citizens.

Additionally, I vote we boycott pork chops and all other pig meat products while heeding the sound advice of Vice President Biden.  ”I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places right now,” he offered. “It’s not that its going to Mexico, its that you are in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes, it goes everywhere through the aircraft. That’s me.”

Further, travel on planes, trains, subways, buses and all carpooling arrangements of 4 passengers or more should be strongly discouraged by the White House Press Secretary in his morning briefing as well a the CDC website.

Let me see. What have I forgotten. Oh yeah. We should continue, by all means available, hyping the international hysteria around the H1N1 virus.

I think that will do it….FOR NOW.

Good for you! The government doesn’t want us to call it “Swine Flu,” but instead use the more technical and important sounding H1N1. Clearly the H1N1 problem started in California since Mexico has a suberb track record of reporting all health problems.

Also the CARB (California Air Resource Board) is going to treat the virus as a pollutant. That alone will cure the problem….

    It’s not April 1 is it….?

Be careful.. Don’t let Bob D. Hear about this post. He would be very unhappy to hear about the utilization of private owned vehicles in place of Eco friendly mass transit… Regardless of the circumstances. You know how Bob feels about the environment…

This flu pandemic cannot be under estimated. With one person already dead from the virus in the US we could soon double that number of deaths. And Jeff, considering that the virus spreads openly in the environment, the environment is no longer eco-friendly, and we should take every precaution to kill this bug before we breathe it in, such as by filling the air with more fossil fuel CO2, acid rain, and particulate matter from coal fired power plants. It those emissions can kill us, it certainly can kill that tiny air-borne virus.

Sooo, I suppose our national government should have responded the way they did with Katrina?!? Your really don’t want the government involved in much of anything do you?!? So how long should the government waited until attempting to nip it in the bud if possible?

Boy, I can already feel the heat and hot air expelling!

Funny article – is that what is called satire? I see that conservatives thinks that Colbert is really a conservative and believes what he says. Seems like satire has lost its ability to be identified!!

Hope no one busts a blood vessel and gets high blood pressure or worse over my response!! Have a good day!

Well, better to call it the Swine Flu, than the Mexican Flu…right?

I think the main problem with this version of the Flu (and that really is all that it is…”The Flu”….is that to much of the world, we are “Capitalistic Pigs”….with “Pigs” being the key word, so this Flu has targeted the United States!! Sure, there are some other places that get it, but that was just to test it’s effectiveness! What better place than Mexico, to start it….we have never been able to stop the illegals from crossing the border….so it’s easy to bring into the border.

Just what we need. to waste our time with articles from a stupid jerk be it satire or not. How about keeping blogs to useful info

Since not much is really known about the subject, for instance face mask being used are totally useless, I’ll make a logical guess as to it’s origination. What more fitting name than Swine and Capital Hill in Washington! It could be recognizable easily as Capital Hill Swine.

Your posting is insane. I know that it was done as sarcasm, but it was in poor taste. Rather than rant this way, a link to good information alone would have made me a lot happier. For those who have been ill, this post is an insult.
