Kinbrook Island, Brooks Alberta Canada
Great campground, but incredible boat dock area that is dog friendly.
Our dogs LOVE camping at Kinbrook

There are a ton of pet friendly RV and camp grounds listed here http://www.dogtrip101.com/pet-friendly-travel-directory/camping-and-cabins.html

And I agree with Nancy above. Pick up after your pet! We use the 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable dog waste bag. Works great!

Dumplin Valley Farm RV Park is a great overnight stop for anyone with a dog. The sites are grassy with gravel underneath and there is plenty of room to take your dog for a walk or run. Pets must be kept on a leash and you will need to carry a plastic bag for the poop. There are cows in the pasture across the road as well as a pond and woods on the farm's property across the road. There is a nice picnic pavilion, clean restrooms and it is only 1 1/2 miles from I-40 exit #407. It is not crowded except during festival weeks (twice a year). Owners live on the premises giving the camping area a homey feel.

Four Paws Kingdom in Rutherfordton, NC is a great place for pet owners. The park caters to dog owners with off leash areas for small and large dogs, a pet bathhouse, activities such as a swimming pond and agility areas. Check them out at www.fourpawskingdom.com

I am looking forward to learning more about pet-friendly parks. We are new to full-timing, soon and when we have taken our dog to "pet-friendly" parks around here in VT our activities have been restricted. You are not supposed to leave your pet unattended in your RV and they were not welcome[even on a leash] at the shuffleboard area or the horseshoe pits. Hlp, what do other people do with their pets.

KOA-Fayetteville, NC is a wonderful place to stop on your way south. They have a fenced pet playground (a large one) complete with balls and toys and water for your pet. The playgound is clean and a great place to exercize your pet off leash. The campground itself is very clean and friendly. We'll stop there again for sure!

Dog Owners: Please do not think that just because you're walking your dog on the designated "pet walk" that you don't have to pick up their messes. Be respectful of the others that will walk there after you and keep the area clean.

The name of the park : Almond Tree RV Park

City and state or city and province: Chico, California

Phone number and email address, if available:
     Almond Tree RV Park
     3124 Esplanade
     Chico, California 95973-0203
     (530) 899-1271 • Fax (530) 892-0523

Website address (URL) : http://northvalley.net/rvpark/

What makes this RV park “pet friendly?” : The Almond Tree RV Park is very welcoming to pets. It is a smaller quiet park that has plenty of area for your pet to "do their business" (make sure you clean up after them though). The bathrooms are kept sparkling clean and there is a pool and community room available. Bidwell Park (http://www.bidwellpark.org/) is close by with so many different areas to walk and/or hike with your leashed dog. Chico creek runs through the park and you and you dog can enjoy cooling off you feet by soaking them in the creek. It is my Shar Pei's most favorite place in the world.
