As someone else said " Our oil resources are located in Ca, Nebraska, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and offshore in the Carolinas...but the dipsticks are located in Washington D.C!"

I feel your pain Harold! We are to leave for Ca. in a month or so. We live in Az. the cheapest state right now for the #golden gallon of gas." I have been filling up the motorhome with gas cans while it is cheap (ha ha!!!) Every trip to town we fill up 3 cans and every trip is about 10 cents a gallon more. Still at $3.59 but with this weekend coming up, who knows! I need about 20 more gals to top off the "Beast" but that will get me to Ca. where I will shed a tear or two when I fill up and come back home. Good luck everyone!! Keep the shiney side up, and the dirty side down. Dan

You ask how have the gas prices effected me?

Well, we're full-timers, and I consider a full-timer lives on the road.

My plans are to leave southern Michigan next week heading for the great northwest. We're on our way back to Alaska for our third trip in our motor home.

If I hold off until the fuel prices go down, what'a y'all think, maybe next year, the year after that, or maybe never. I'don't like the prices, but what can ya do, ya can't hole somewhere and wait it out, cause I don't think there ever goin'a be like they use to be.

Check out my travels at "The Howells Travels"
