Today I’m going to show you how to make an easy, delicious guacamole – direct from my trip last summer to sunny Tucson, Arizona. While at the Flying V restaurant in Tuscon, I learned how to make this zesty mexican food staple.

Rich with jalapeƱos, garlic, onion and other goodies, this is sure to set your taste buds on end!

Visit my site at www.RVCookingShow.com for the printer-friendly recipe.

Happy Camping,

Thanks for that great guacamole recipe – can’t wait to try it.

Can you tell me where you found that nice “small” food chopper/processor? It looks like it would be a great addition to our kitchen. Thanks – Lee

    Hi Lee,

Don’t laugh..I found the small chopper at a yard sale in Las Vegas for a quarter. It’s the perfect RV kitchen companion. I’ve seen them in stores like Linens n Things for maybe $20 or so. Love it, love it, love it.

Yesterday I saw a nifty utensil – it’s a multi-use hand blender with the blender attachment, a whip attachment and a chopper attachment for $50. I like that it can do multiple jobs – smoothies, key lime pies and guacamole! Go figure!!

Thanks for the kudos on the recipe – it really is delicious. Let me know how yours turns out.

    Happy travels,

    Evanne

Good recipe. I might have run the chopped ingredients very briefly through the food processor for a smoother consistency. Just my preference.

Also, as an appetizer, cut the Avacado into bite sized chunks, squeeze 1/2 fresh lime over them, add salt & pepper, and garnish if you like. The lime juice, salt & pepper really work well with the flavor of the Avacado. High in anti-oxidants. Very healthy snack.

    Hi Fred,

Yum on the avocado and lime juice. We’re in Morro Bay, CA right now – a big avocado growing area. Last January they had a terrible freeze that really damaged the trees. Used to visit a vendor at the Farmers Market and enjoy 3 medium avacados for a buck. Now they run $1.25 each…but are still worth every penny!!

    Enjoy – Evanne

What do you get when you mix Guacamole with Swiss Cheese? answer, (Holly Mole)! Ha, Ha, Ha!!!….Kutchie Pelaez over at Kutcharitaville Cafe told me that one.
He’s Such a Nut. Kutchie is the one that is World Famous for baking his “World’s Greatest Key Lime Pies”, and they Really Are. We know because we order them all the time. They’re not cheap but they’re worth every penny they cost and then some.
Others call it “Paradise in A Pan”. We like to call it “Summer Time in a Pan”. …No matter what you may call it, you will indeed say it’s “The Best Key Lime Pie That You
Have Ever Eaten”!…..You will probably Enjoy It So Much that You Will Spend Some Time Telling Others About How Great Kutchie’s Key Lime Pie Is, Just Like How I Am
Doing Right Now. You will probably be so impressed as too write Kutchie a review or two. How else can the Good News Get Around? Hell, I heard about Kutchie’s Pies from my pastor! Need I Say More.

    take care,………….Joao Franisco
