Don’t be surprised with the 7 % lodging tax added to the campsite bill. The same as if staying in a motel/hotel. Welcome to Maine with your tax dollars!

Sugarloaf brings back pleasant memories from 50 years ago. A friend and I had hoped to do some spring skiing in Vermont. As it turned out, the snow conditions were very poor at Stowe and all of Vermont as well as New Hampshire. Finally, someone suggested that we might find decent snow at Sugarloaf in Maine. Sure enough, when we finally arrived at Sugarloaf, we found excellent snow conditions and enjoyed several days of great skiing. It was a long drive back to our home town of Binghamton, NY but very worthwhile.
