As a grandparent, I can tell you how much my wife, Lynn, and I enjoy getting those drawings of trees and spiders and leaves from our grandkids. Wonderful ideas. L am going to email your blog to my daughter and the mother of our four granddaughters. And Lynn (who writes the Health & Fitness blog), was impressed with your choice to take healthy snacks along on hikes. And what a good way to get kids interested in and protective of the natural world and its inhabitants that they find on such outings and hikes.
