Though I am not the person you requested to go to picasa, I was able to view the movie and hear the music on my Mac desktop. The movie was a little grainy but otherwise looked and sounded great.

Maybe MS hasn’t updated their site but it says systems requirements are

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Media Center Edition, or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

For the Grand Canyon National Park 2004, only the audio gets through on a Mac running OS 10.4.11 with either Windows Media Player 9.0 (for Mac) or the latest available Safari Plugin. The error message from WMP is “This file may not play correctly because it was compressed by using a codec that is not supported.” Same problem trying to run it with VLC.

Peace River & the Geeks on Tour intro both run fine.

You might also want to take a look a ProShow. It costs $70 while Photo Story 3 is free but I have found it much easier to use and it has many more options (input and output formats) making it well worth the money. There is a free 15 day trial available to let you check it out.
